Corey spent nearly a decade in the telecommunications industry, working primarily in the community relations and project management arenas. He became a stay-at-home Dad for a few years and spent a large portion of his time running kids to and from sporting events. Sportsworx became the opportunity of a lifetime; combining his love of youth sports and kids! Corey and his wife, Donna, purchased a SportsWorx franchise in the spring of 2007. Helping high school athletes fulfill their dreams of playing college sports and helping mom and dad pay for college is extremely gratifying. The Boreing's have been involved in youth sports and the Colorado community for many years. This involvement spans ice hockey, lacrosse, soccer and baseball. Corey has served on a youth hockey association board of directors as well as helped coach in several sports.

Donna grew up in Michigan, and has spent the last 22 years in the Rocky Mountain region. Donna has been featured in Colorado Zenith Women magazine “Who’s Who in Business” edition, and in 2006 was selected by the Denver Business Journal to receive a “40 under 40 Award” that is given annually to forty business leaders who excel in business and community involvement. She currently serves on the Denver Mayor’s Commission for Denver’s Road Home, the 10-Year Plan to end Homelessness and Chairs its Community Appeals Advisory Board, she also sits on the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation Board; and is a graduate from the highly lauded Leadership Denver Program. Donna has recently retired from the insurance industry after over 20 years; she formerly was a Vice President of Operations for a Fortune 50 Company; WellPoint, Inc.. She dedicates a portion of her time to the operations of Sportsworx Colorado, running her own womens health, fitness and med spa busines; and most importantly, raising two children. Donna is dedicated to making her community the best place to raise a family; and couples this with a passion in assisting student athletes to find the right college, team and scholarship opportunity for them and their family.

He retired from Jefferson County Schools in 2001, after thirty years as a teacher and coach. He first taught and coached at Englewood High School before transferring to Alameda High School in 1976. Ron transferred to Chatfield Senior High its opening year of 1985. He taught English and was the Head Baseball coach for sixteen years as well as an assistant football coach for eight years. Ron is the former President of the Colorado High School Baseball Coaches Association and has served on many committees both in Jeffco schools and at the State level. He was voted as Jeffco Coach of the Year three times and had two State runner-up championships during his tenure as Chatfield's baseball coach. Ron is passionate about helping student athletes become the best they can be; both in the classroom and on the field. Given his robust experience in high school academics and athletics, coupled with his desire to see student athletes excel, he is one of our most valued team mates. When Ron isn’t working for the betterment of Colorado’s student athletes, he spends his time traveling and with his two daughters, Brooke and Cori.
